All brushes, except blue top bristles, can be used for both uses as long as they are designated to that specific medium. Blue top brushes are only for water. Cleaning the brush after each use will increase longevity.

All kits are hand-selected by Pierre Finkelstein for their usefulness and efficiency in creating the specific technique listed as the product name.

There are several levels to the brush kits, depending on the cost and number of brushes desired for purchase.

• The Intro Kit is the smallest-sized kit that is good for entry-level use.
• The Standard Kit is a medium-sized kit that will give you most of the brushes needed for the specific technique.
• The Full Kit is our largest kit option and has the largest amount of the necessary brushes for that
  technique. 

Each brush will have measurements provided in inches and millimetrs. The chart is called "Size Translations" located under the product description.

• Sheer for when you are trying to replicate a natural finish (faux finish) wood graining, marble, leather, tortoiseshell. When there are many layers of paint you need to let the layers show through with sheer.
• Glazing medium for when only putting over 1-2 colors like glazing a large wall to extend the dry time.

Unfortunately, we do not offer these services. We recommend using Mixol and or Golden Slow Dry Fluid Acrylics for tinting.

HV'Art is predominately for interior decorative painting. We do not recommend using for outdoor or high-traffic areas. Weathering, water, and other elements can affect the finish as the water-based lacquer is not as strong compared to solvent-based lacquer.

It is highly recommended to use the product line. In the case of using non-HV'Art products, please ensure the PH is compatible and all substances are cured prior to using HV'Art.

We recommend to use our HV'Art Adhesion and Hardening Additive which will optimize the adhesion to previous layer as well as adding hardness.

The online training includes 4 hours of training by Pierre Finkelstein.

This training covers the basics of the product, proper mixing, and application. You will learn all of the processes such as application (spray, non-spray), sanding, polishing, patination, and sealing/waxing.

The starter kit features a 12 minute guide an video tutorial for usage and the necessary materials. This is best used to familiarize with the product or sampling.

If you no longer want your purchased items, please reach out to us at info@fauxbrushes.com within 30 days to start a return. 

Please note the following:

• Only unused, undamaged items that are in their original packaging are eligible for a return within 30 days of purchase
• Buyer will pay for return shipping costs
• Orders over $150 will require a 15% restocking fee
• A refund is only processed once all items are received and inspected
• Refunds will be processed through their original payment method or via store credit
